User Data Deletion Instructions

Method 1: Disconnect via Meta Facebook Settings

You can revoke our application's access and trigger automated data erasure directly through your Meta account settings:

1. Log in to your Facebook profile or Meta Business Manager.
2. Navigate to Settings & Privacy → Settings.
3. Under Permissions in the left sidebar, click Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites).
4. Find Chatwoot WhatsApp Integration in your active list.
5. Click Remove and confirm.
6. Meta will automatically dispatch a secure signed callback to our server endpoint (/api/data-deletion), initiating the immediate purge of your records.

Method 2: Submit a Direct Data Erasure Request

To immediately delete all WhatsApp message transcripts, customer records, and access credentials from our database clusters without navigating Meta settings, submit your identifier below:

Method 3: Technical Automated Callback Endpoint

For Meta App Review auditors:

• Endpoint: https://<domain>/api/data-deletion
• HTTP Method: POST containing Meta's signed_request parameter.
• Response Payload: Compliant JSON payload returning the tracking status link and confirmation code:

Data Purge Scope

Upon confirmation, our systems permanently execute the following actions within 30 days:

• Revoke and delete all stored Meta System User and Graph API tokens.
• Delete customer WhatsApp conversation logs, message transcripts, and media attachments.
• Deregister all webhook subscriptions from your WhatsApp Business Account.
• Scrub contact phone numbers and identity mappings from production databases.
